This demonstration is divided into stages, each one a mini slide show. As you watch the image the details will appear in the order in which they were painted. The slide show will repeat until you click Next.

Initially a carefull drawing was made using photographs of the bridge and the boat for reference. The image was then transferred to the watercolour paper using a fine biro point and graphite paper.
