Time now to work on the bridge. The dark steel work was painted first,
painting both near and far side as one joined together wash.
This meant that the brush could be run straight from one end of a beam to the other,
even if part of that view was actually obscured.
The result is that all the beams line up,
even where the front and back become a hopeless confusion. See inset image for detail.
Now the far side is picked out in a darker colour
A wash is applied to the brickwork, then the darker areas are repainted with the same wash, and finally a few bricks dotted in
